Mavericks' Harrison Barnes: Pours in 23 in Saturday loss

Barnes posted 23 points (5-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 13-14 FT), seven rebounds and one assist over 36 minutes in Saturday's 100-98 loss to the Suns.

Analysis:

Barnes' worst shooting night since Feb. 11 helped prevent what could have been a much bigger line, but conversely, his season-high 14 visits to the charity stripe propped up what could have been a much poorer effort. Barnes also turned in strong work on the glass for the third straight night, as he's now hauled in 20 boards over the last three contests. Despite the shooting struggles Saturday, the veteran is averaging a solid 19.7 points over his first six March games.
