Rockets' Ryan Anderson: Expected to play Friday

Anderson (back) is expected to play in Friday's game against the Bulls, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Analysis:

Anderson missed Wednesday's game against the Jazz with back tightness, but traveled with the Rockets to Chicago and was able to take part in morning shootaround Friday without incident, suggesting he's now reasonably healthy. During Wednesday's game, the Rockets elected to go with a three-guard starting lineup featuring Eric Gordon, so he'll presumably head back to his normal role as the team's sixth man to make room on the top unit for Anderson.
