Celtics' Jonas Jerebko: Will start at power forward Sunday
Jerebko will start at power forward Sunday against the Suns, ESPN.com's Chris Forsberg reports.
Analysis:
The Celtics surprisingly announced that Al Horford was dealing with a sprained elbow and will sit out Sunday, so Jerebko will have the first crack at replacing him in the starting lineup, while Amir Johnson shifts over to Horford's normal spot at center. While Jerebko figures to see an uptick from the 16.7 minutes per game he's averaging for the season with the move to the starting five, coach Brad Stevens will likely spread out Horford's playing time liberally among Jerebko, Johnson, Kelly Olynyk, Tyler Zeller and perhaps even Jordan Mickey. Due to his scoring ability, Olynyk probably offers the most fantasy upside of that quintet while Horford is sidelined, but Jerebko could at least draw some short-term intrigue in deeper leagues.
