Warriors' Stephen Curry: Disappoints with 11 in loss

Curry put up 11 points (4-18 FG, 1-11 3pt, 2-2 FT), five assists, two rebounds and a steal over 27 minutes in Monday's 132-110 loss to the Nuggets.

Analysis:

Perhaps it was the altitude? Or possibly Saturday's taxing matchup against the Thunder is to blame. Either way, the Warriors did not look like themselves, and Curry's performance epitomized that fact, as Curry shot less than 10 percent from beyond the arc and disappeared from the lineup in the fourth quarter. Coach Steve Kerr let the second unit finish out the game, which definitely affected Curry's output, but he was ice-cold from the beginning. Denver's record-tying feat of 24 threes is hard to overcome for any team, so expect this lackluster outing to be a blip on the radar for Curry, who is still one of the NBA's elite point guards.
