Pelicans' Tyreke Evans: Probable Sunday vs. Kings

Evans (ankle) is listed as probable for Sunday's contest against the Kings.

Analysis:

Evans has missed the last two games with a sprained left ankle, but it appears the swelling has subsided enough to the point where the Pelicans are optimistic that he'll be available Sunday. The Pelicans are unlikely to have E'Twaun Moore (personal) available, so Evans could immediately claim a sizable role as the top guard off the bench if he's clear to play. Prior to suffering the injury in Monday's win over the Suns, Evans was averaging 10.2 points, 3.6 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 21.2 minutes per contest.
