Which starting PGs should the Bucks target at the deadline?

Tom Szczerbowski / USA TODAY Sports

It's officially deadline month! To celebrate, theScore's NBA editors will be asking and answering the questions that matter leading up to Feb. 23.

A recent losing skid has dropped them out of a playoff position, but the Milwaukee Bucks remain one of the most intriguing teams at this year's deadline.

While the loss of Jabari Parker is certainly a big blow, the Bucks still have the talent in place to reach the postseason, assuming Giannis Antetokounmpo is able to continue his All-NBA level pace, and that Khris Middleton returns to pre-injury form.

Milwaukee still needs an upgrade at the starting point guard position, however, where career backup Matthew Dellavedova has been used for much of the season.

Here's a list of the top names the Bucks should consider targeting over the next two weeks:

Eric Bledsoe

2016-17 stats: 21.2 ppg, 6.1 apg, 5 rpg, 43.9 FG%, 32.5 3P%, 4.8 WS

Bledsoe certainly wouldn't come cheap, but the Bucks would be hard-pressed to find a better PG option than the explosive Suns guard.

At 6-foot-1 with a 6-foot-7 wingspan, Bledsoe would fit seamlessly with the Bucks' young and lengthy roster, giving them another athletic scorer who can also defend multiple positions.

With two more seasons remaining on his contract, the Bucks could get multiple prime years out of Bledsoe and let him grow with their young core.

Ricky Rubio

2016-17 stats: 8.7 ppg, 8.2 apg, 3.7 rpg, 38.5 FG%, 29.3%, 3.4 WS

With the Timberwolves' season all but over following the season-ending injury to Zach LaVine, it would be quite the shock if Minnesota didn't at least try to move Rubio from now until Feb. 23.

The 26-year-old may be mired in a down year, but his strong defense and elite passing ability could strengthen a Bucks roster currently lacking in both areas.

While Rubio's shooting woes remain a cause for concern, Middleton's return could help counter any potential spacing issues, while the Spaniard's passing would only improve the Bucks' ability to score off cuts.

Deron Williams

2016-17 stats: 13.5 ppg, 7.1 apg, 2.7 rpg, 43.2 FG%, 35.1 3P%, 1.8 WS

At 32 years old, Williams isn't going to wow anyone at this stage of his career, but he remains a solid contributor and is more than capable of leading an offense for long stretches.

While injuries have hampered the 6-foot-3 guard over the last several seasons, he remains efficient for his size, and could help rejuvenate an offense that just lost its second-best scorer to a torn ACL.

If nothing else, Williams is a relatively cheap option that would help strengthen Milwaukee's point guard depth, while also allowing Dellavedova to return to the bench - a role the Australian is much better suited for.

Goran Dragic

2016-17 stats: 20 ppg, 6.5 apg, 3.9 rpg, 48.3 FG%, 44.5 3P%, 4.6 WS

Yes, the Heat may be in the midst of a 12-game winning streak, but trading away one of their prized veterans wouldn't be the worst idea for a franchise starved for young talent.

After a down year in 2015-16, Dragic has bounced back with one of his best NBA seasons, leading the Heat in a number statistical categories through the first two-thirds of the year.

While Dragic's defense remains a question mark, the 30-year-old would fit well in the Bucks' offense, giving Milwaukee another 3-point option to spread the floor for players like Antetokounmpo.

Dragic is set to make about $18 million annually over the next three seasons, so to acquire him the Bucks may need to get creative in order to avoid cap problems down the road.
