Knicks' Joakim Noah: Out Monday vs. Lakers

Noah (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Lakers, Ian Begley of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Noah was forced to the sideline early in Saturday's loss to the Cavaliers due to soreness in his left hamstring, and after failing to practice Sunday, he'll be forced to sit out Monday. Coach Jeff Hornacek suggested that he preferred to keep Willy Hernangomez, who has hit double figures in the scoring column in three straight contests, in a bench role, so Kyle O'Quinn profiles as the most logical replacement in the starting five for Noah. That being said, Hernangomez could be a safer bet to take on the bulk of the minutes at the position.
