Pacers' Kevin Seraphin: Out Thursday vs. Timberwolves

Seraphin will sit out Thursday's game against the Timberwolves due to a sore left knee.

Analysis:

After becoming a mainstay in coach Nate McMillan's rotation earlier in the month, Seraphin's playing time has fallen by the wayside over the last week or so, as he'd logged double-digit minutes in only one of his past four contests. Now that he's nursing a knee injury, he'll have a more arduous path to playing time once he's healthy again. Look for Al Jefferson to absorb any light minutes that would have gone to Seraphin, if deep reserve Lavoy Allen doesn't enter the rotation in his stead.
