Davis: Pelicans gave assistant hell for high-fiving Curry

The New Orleans Pelicans were understandably miffed that one of their own was eating proverbial ice cream with the enemy on Tuesday night.

As the team reviewed film Wednesday from its narrow loss to the Golden State Warriors, they couldn't help but get on assistant coach Darren Erman's case when they watched him dap up Steph Curry after the reigning MVP buried a 3-ball in Jrue Holiday's eye.

"We gave him a little hell about it," Anthony Davis said, according to ESPN's Justin Verrier.

Erman knows Curry well, having served as a Warriors assistant on Mark Jackson's staff, but that didn't absolve him in the Pelicans' eyes.
