Wizards' Markieff Morris: Ruled out Wednesday vs. Hornets
Morris is dealing with a sore left foot and has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Hornets, Candace Buckner of The Washington Post reports.
Analysis:
The Wizards originally announced that Morris would start as usual, but it appears he may have experienced some discomfort in his foot during warmups and was ultimately scratched from the lineup. Kelly Oubre is expected to enter the starting five in his stead, with Otto Porter moving over to power forward to make room for the second-year player. Considering that Morris' injury is just being labeled as soreness, it doesn't seem like a particularly serious issue, so he could be good to go for a matchup Friday with the Pistons and his brother, Marcus.
