Lakers' D'Angelo Russell: Officially probable Wednesday

Russell (knee) is officially listed as probable for Wednesday's game against the Nets, Mark Medina of the LA Daily News reports.

Analysis:

All indications are that Russell will play, but the Lakers continue to list the second-year guard on the injury report for precautionary reasons. Russell struggled mightily in his return from an 11-game absence Sunday against the Knicks but bounced back with a strong showing Monday against Sacramento, finishing with 17 points, four assists and two rebounds in 20 minutes. Expect Russell to gradually increase his minutes load over the next few games as he works back to full strength.
