Lakers' Julius Randle: Will start Sunday

Randle is nursing a hip injury, but will start at power forward Sunday against the Knicks, Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Analysis:

Randle apparently aggravated the hip injury, which sidelined him for three games in November, during Friday's loss to the Suns, and though he was considered questionable to play Sunday, he'll suit up as expected. Lakers coach Luke Walton didn't indicate Randle would face any sort of restriction, so he should be in line for a full workload. That said, if his hip acts up during the course of Sunday's game, Larry Nance or Luol Deng could be pressed into more playing time than expected.
