Nuggets' Emmanuel Mudiay: Expected back Saturday

Mudiay (ankle) will play Saturday against Orlando, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Mudiay missed Thursday's game against the Wizards due to a sprained right ankle, but after resting Friday he appears to be on track to return to action. The second-year guard has been a disaster on the offensive end this season, but he'll likely reclaim his spot in the starting lineup from veteran Jameer Nelson, who got the nod Thursday and finished with 10 points and eight assists in 36 minutes. On the year, Mudiay is averaging 13.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists while shooting 34.8 percent from the floor and 26.5 percent from three.
