Bulls' Doug McDermott: Recalled from D-League

McDermott (concussion) was recalled Wednesday from the D-League's Windy City Bulls, Nick Friedell of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

McDermott continues to work back from a concussion and was sent down to the D-League to log a couple of practices earlier this week. It's expected that he'll be reevaluated by team doctors and potentially take part in shootaround Thursday, and if all goes well, he'll likely be cleared to play later that day against the Spurs. McDermott, who has missed the last 11 games, is averaging 10.6 points (on 51.4% shooting from the field), 2.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 23.7 minutes per contest.
