Knicks' Joakim Noah: Will not play Wednesday

Noah (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves.

Analysis:

Noah suffered a sprained ankle in Monday's game against the Thunder, and despite playing through the ailment, he'll now be held out Wednesday. The seriousness of the injury is currently unknown, but for as long as Noah is out, both Willy Hernangomez and Kyle O'Quinn would be in line to see extended minutes in the frontcourt.
