Kings' DeMarcus Cousins: Playing through broken shooting finger

Cousins has been playing through a broken middle finger on his shooting hand, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.

Analysis:

Cousins apparently had X-rays taken on the finger prior to the team's current road trip, and despite those X-rays revealing a fracture, he's not experiencing enough pain to remain off the court. The injury clearly isn't affecting his play, as he amassed 36 points and 20 rebounds in Monday's overtime loss to the Wizards and is now averaging 32.1 points (on 47.2% shooting), 12.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 2.8 three-pointers, 1.4 steals and 1.3 blocks per game over his last eight contests. He did experience some swelling in the finger after Monday's game, but it's not anything that figures to prevent him from playing Wednesday against the 76ers.
