Heat's Luke Babbitt: Will start Monday

Babbitt will draw the start at small forward in Monday's matchup against the Celtics, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Babbitt saw his role drastically reduced after starting the first eight games of the season. However, he has seen his minutes increase in the previous four games. With Dion Waiters sidelined Monday the expectation was Josh Richardson would slide up to small forward, but the Heat have opted to go a little bigger by inserting Babbit.
