Celtics' Al Horford: Turns in dominant outing in return from concussion

Horford (concussion) submitted 18 points (7-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals across 34 minutes in Saturday's 94-92 win over the Pistons.

Analysis:

Horford's return from a nine-game absence went about as well as the Celtics could have imagined, as he turned in his best all-around outing in a Boston uniform. Perhaps more importantly than anything, the Celtics immediately handed Horford a huge minutes load in his first game back from the concussion and had him on the floor for crunch time, during which he made a couple big plays to help secure the victory. Now that he's healthy, Horford should make more an excellent source of multi-category production from the center spot over the rest of the season.
