Jazz's Gordon Hayward: Struggles from field in second straight game

Hayward was limited to a season-low eight points (3-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT) to go with 12 rebounds, three assists and two steals across 41 minutes in Thursday's 85-77 loss to the Bulls.

Analysis:

After topping 20 points in his first five games back from a broken finger, Hayward's wayward shooting has dampened his impact over the last two games. The star small forward has gone just 7-of-29 from the field during that time, though he at least redeemed himself to some extent Thursday by grabbing his most rebounds of the season. It shouldn't be long before he gets on track, with the Jazz's back-to-back weekend tilts with two subpar defenses in the Rockets and Nuggets seemingly providing cushy landing spots.
