Pistons' Andre Drummond: Remains questionable to play Wednesday

Drummond (ankle) didn't practice Tuesday and is considered questionable to play Wednesday against the Knicks, Rod Beard of The Detroit News reports.

Analysis:

Drummond sprained his right ankle Saturday against the Nuggets and was subsequently held out of Monday's win over the Thunder, marking just his third absence in the last three-plus seasons. His lack of participation in practice Tuesday isn't exactly inspiring, but coach Stan Van Gundy said Drummond's status is still up in the air and won't be decided until the team can evaluate him Wednesday at shootaround. Aron Baynes drew the start at center in Drummond's place Monday and finished with 20 points (8-13 FG, 4-4 FT) and eight rebounds in 34 minutes, while Boban Marjanovic saw a season-high 12 minutes off the bench.
