Heat's Josh McRoberts: Makes season debut Saturday

McRoberts (foot) put up four points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one assist across 13 minutes in Saturday's 102-91 loss to the Jazz.

Analysis:

McRoberts took far longer than expected to recover from a stress reaction in his left foot that he suffered during the Heat's playoff run back in the spring, with the injury sidelining him for all of training camp and the first seven games of the current season. Considering that health issues have limited McRoberts throughout his time in Miami and he's now expected to see most of his action at center, where he ranks third on the depth chart, it's unlikely that the veteran will see much regular run over the course of the season.
