Hawks' Kyle Korver: Status for Wednesday in some question

Korver (personal) is expected to be available for Wednesday's game against the Bulls, but confirmation on that front isn't likely to come until pregame warmups, KL Chouinard of Hawks.com reports.

Analysis:

Following the birth of his son earlier this week, Korver remained in Atlanta during Tuesday's road win over the Cavaliers to spend time with the newborn and his wife. Since the Hawks will return to Atlanta for the second half of their back-to-back set Wednesday, it's likely that Korver will rejoin the squad in time for the game, but since the team didn't hold a morning shootaround, an announcement on his availability likely won't arrive until shortly before tip time. If Korver ends up sitting out Wednesday and extending his paternity leave, Thabo Sefolosha, who entered the starting five Tuesday and played 35 minutes, would likely be in store for another stint with the top unit.
