Heat's Josh McRoberts: Sits out again Sunday

McRoberts (foot) didn't play in Sunday's 106-99 loss to the Spurs.

Analysis:

The Heat took McRoberts off their injury report prior to the weekend, but he ended up sitting out Friday against the Hornets and Sunday against the Spurs. Both games were competitive, so it's possible that coach Erik Spoelstra may be waiting for a garbage-time opportunity to give McRoberts his first minutes of the season. With McRoberts himself indicating that he expects to see most of his action at center rather than power forward this season, his pathway to playing time is a little more blocked with Hassan Whiteside and Willie Reed seemingly representing the clear top two options on the depth chart.
