Lakers' Jose Calderon: Doubtful for Friday

Calderon (calf) is listed as doubtful for Friday's game against the Jazz, Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Analysis:

Calderon was able to return to practice Thursday, but with the calf strain sidelining him for much of the last two weeks, the Lakers aren't considering him as a serious candidate to play Friday. Jordan Clarkson operated as the team's sixth man in Wednesday's season opener and should see extended minutes at both backcourt spots off the bench while Calderon remains out.
