Thunder's Victor Oladipo: Shoots 4-for-16 in season opener

Oladipo accumulated 10 points (4-16 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block across 26 minutes in Wednesday's 103-97 win over the 76ers.

Analysis:

After exploding for 34 points in the Thunder's preseason opener, Oladipo's scoring and efficiency took a steep hit over the remainder of the exhibition schedule, and those struggles carried over to the regular-season opener. Oladipo's poor shooting and team-high three turnovers in Wednesday's contest resulted in coach Billy Donovan scaling back his workload, allowing Kyle Singler (22 minutes) and Semaj Christon (15 minutes) to see enhanced court time. The Thunder still view Oladipo as an integral part of the core and are counting on him to be their primary scoring option after Russell Westbrook, but he's worth avoiding in daily formats until he proves his shooting woes are behind him.
