Warriors' JaVale McGee: Sits out preseason finale

McGee (knee) didn't play in Friday's preseason finale against the Trail Blazers.

Analysis:

McGee was able to warm up prior to the contest and was cleared to play, so it appears he was just held out in a coach's decision. The 28-year-old ended up earning a spot on the Warriors' 15-man roster and will give the team some athleticism at the center position behind the more horizontal-bound Zaza Pachulia and Anderson Varejao.
