Pelicans' E'Twaun Moore: Starting Thursday

Moore (heel) is in the starting lineup at shooting guard for Thursday's preseason finale against the Magic, John Reid of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Analysis:

With Anthony Davis (ankle) also scheduled to return Thursday, the Pelicans look set to roll out their probable starting lineup for the regular-season opener. Moore, Tim Frazier, Solomon Hill and Omer Asik will round out the top unit. Moore had outplayed lottery pick in his previous outings before the heel injury forced him to miss the Pelicans' previous game, so barring a setback in the finale, he seems poised to remain atop the depth chart when the season kicks off next week.
