Pelicans' Anthony Davis: Shooting around Tuesday

Davis (ankle) was spotted shooting around Tuesday, KL Chouinard of Hawks.com reports.

Analysis:

Davis didn't participate in the Pelicans' shootaround, but he was out on the court after it concluded and put up some light jumpers. Davis, who suffered a Grade 2 ankle sprain in an exhibition against the Rockets last week, is expected to miss at least another week, and his status for the Oct. 26 regular-season opener remains in serious jeopardy. However, even if Davis is held out of the opener, he's not expected to miss much time beyond that.
