Raptors' DeMar DeRozan: Resting for Friday's game

DeRozan will be rested for for Friday's preseason game against the Argentinian team San Lorenzo de Almagro, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.

Analysis:

DeRozan will be rested along with the rest of the Raptors starting lineup. He was rested for Thursday's game as well and Toronto appears intent on not pushing their core players harder than absolutely necessary in preseason action. His next chance to return will be against the Pistons on Wednesday.
