Nuggets' Darrell Arthur: 'Very limited' in recent practices

Nuggets coach Michael Malone said Tuesday that Arthur (knee) has been "very limited" in recent practices, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.

Analysis:

Arther had his left knee scoped last month and is being brought along slowly as the preseason progresses. According to Malone, the reserve forward is still "a ways away" from returning, so it would seem his status for the start of the regular season might be in some peril. If Arthur is ultimately still sidelined when the season begins, Juan Hernangomez, Kenneth Faried and Jusuf Nurkic could be asked to pick up a few minutes apiece.
