Cavaliers' Iman Shumpert: Expected to be rested Monday
Shumpert will be rested during Monday's preseason game against the Hawks, Joe Gabriele of Cavs.com reports.
Analysis:
With the Cavs playing their second preseason game in three days, all of the regular starters will sit out, as Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson (foot) join Shumpert in street clothes. Coach Tyronn Lue will go with an undersized starting five consisting of Kay Felder, Jordan McRae, Dahntay Jones, James Jones and Cory Jefferson. Look for Shumpert to return to action Thursday against the Raptors.
