Pacers' Jeff Teague: Struggles from field in Pacers debut

Teague totaled 10 points (5-14 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds, four assists and two steals across 26 minutes in Tuesday's 113-96 preseason victory over the Pelicans.

Analysis:

The Pacers' new starting point guard got off to a rough start from the field, but did a nice job as a distributor and even made his presence felt on the boards. Teague is expected to quarterback the Pacers' attack and offer more scoring from the point guard spot than his predecessor George Hill did. Teague's career-high 40 percent success rate from three-point range in 2015-16 offers optimism that he'll bounce back quickly from Tuesday's 0-for-5 showing from downtown.
