Clippers' Blake Griffin: Says he's 100 percent healthy

Griffin (quad) said Monday that he feels 100 percent healthy heading into training camp, Dan Woike of the Orange County Register reports.

Analysis:

Griffin was sidelined for all but 35 games of the 2015-16 season while battling a quad injury and a broken hand, and though he was back in time for the postseason, he appeared to aggravate the quad injury in the first-round series with the Trail Blazers and was sidelined for the rest of the playoffs. After skipping out on the 2016 Summer Olympics and enjoying a full offseason for rest and rehabilitation, Griffin will now enter camp without restrictions, barring any decisions from coach Doc Rivers to ease him back into the mix. Griffin has shown more aptitude as a passer the last two seasons and increased his output on the boards last year, so he might make for an interesting early-round target now that there's not quite as much buzz surrounding him coming off an injury-plagued campaign.
