Suns' Eric Bledsoe: Set to do five-on-five work Tuesday

Bledsoe (knee) is set to resume playing in five-on-five pickup games during workouts Tuesday, Paul Coro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Analysis:

Bledsoe, whose 2015-16 season ended in late December following surgery to repair a torn left meniscus, has been in Phoenix working out for more than two weeks and looks like he'll be at full strength for the start of training camp. He's already begun playing in two-on-two games and said that his knee has checked out fine, so five-on-five work could represent the final hurdle he'll need to clear in his recovery. Prior to going down with the injury last season, Bledsoe was on track for a career-best campaign, holding down averages of 20.4 points, 6.1 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.5 three-pointers in 34.2 minutes per game. While health issues have dogged him throughout his six seasons in the league, Bledsoe has the upside of a top-20 fantasy asset if he's able to avoid any significant setbacks in 2016-17.
