Jeremy Lin makes music video debut in song about ice cream

In case you had forgotten, Jeremy Lin is a pretty big deal around the world. This especially includes his ancestral homeland of Taiwan, where one of the biggest pop stars is Jay Chou.

In Lin's music video debut, released Friday, the Brooklyn Nets point guard rolls up next to Chou in a convertible. Carnival free throw games ensue, followed by the video's central theme: ice cream. Suddenly, we are taken to a loft with Lin playing the piano while Chou raps. Then it's back to basketball, with Lin rejecting a Chou layup attempt on a basket with a backboard that's shaped like a star.

It's a solid first crossover effort for Lin, who recently signed a three-year, $36-million contract with the Nets. Such video work is nothing new for noted basketball fan Chou however, who had Kobe Bryant appear in the video for one of his 2011 tracks.
