In the wake of Adam Silver's decision to move the 2017 NBA All-Star game from Charlotte, fans have heard from Silver himself, Michael Jordan, Jason Collins, and even the Governor of North Carolina.

After Silver's decision Thursday, which was in response to North Carolina's controversial House Bill 2 - legislation that eliminates anti-discrimination protections for members of the LGBT community - the rest of the basketball world is reacting.

Two-time, reigning MVP Stephen Curry, a Charlotte-area native, had this to say during an appearance on ESPN Thursday.

"It's disappointing that my home town won't be able to host the All-Star Game as they had planned. Obviously I understand Adam Silver's decision. It's an unfortunate situation for the city.

"I know how much that would've meant to the city, to have the greatest NBA guys and celebrate the game of basketball. I know the league are in a position where they had to make a decision. Adam Silver's made one, and we support that, but at the end of the day, I love my city, I love Charlotte, I love everything about it. I love the people there. I really wanted to see them celebrate the game."

Curry's newest teammate was among a throng of others who also weighed in.
