Durant tweets he doesn't like super teams, eventually joins Warriors

Kelley L Cox / USA TODAY Sports

Kevin Durant's mindset on how super teams are hurting the NBA has clearly changed over the years.

The four-time scoring champion announced Monday he'll be joining the 73-win Golden State Warriors on a reported two-year deal, electing to align himself with All-Star players in back-to-back Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry, Splash Brother Klay Thompson, and defensive powerhouse Draymond Green.

However, in 2010, Durant tweeted his disappointment that players were opting to flock to the likes of the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers, potentially throwing off the competitive balance in the league.

If 2010 Durant knew what 2016 Durant was going to do, it's safe to say that tweet would have never made it to his account.
