If one thing was learned at Chandler Parsons' early meeting with the Portland Trail Blazers, it's that the forward can reportedly command a maximum contract offer.

According to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Trail Blazers offered Parsons a four-year max when the parties met at the onset of free agency early Friday morning.

The 27-year-old could make roughly $22 million in the first year of a max contract.

Parsons, who has undergone two surgeries on his right knee since last spring, averaged 13.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists on a career-high effective field goal percentage of 57.1 for the Dallas Mavericks this past season.

His ability to shoot, put the ball on the floor, and lead the fast break make him one of the more dynamic offensive forwards in the league when healthy, but his knee issues and durability were the potential barriers in his quest for max money.

Despite missing 37 games over the last two seasons and concerns on the defensive end, however, it appears Parsons has at least one max suitor in Portland.
