The Boston Celtics have selected Iowa State forward Abdel Nader with the 58th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

Nader is an explosive wing-player who turned in numerous highlight-reel dunks during his time at Iowa State. An improved shooter in his final college season, Nader made 37 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc, while also chipping in 5.0 assists per contest. The 22-year-old is well-versed in an NBA offense, as the Cyclones run the majority of their plays out of professional sets.

Nader will likely struggle to find a true position at the professional level, undersized as a forward, but not quick enough to cover top point guards. He will likely have to shoot the lights out at Celtics camp to make the roster.
