Thunder select Daniel Hamilton after buying No. 56 pick

The Denver Nuggets selected Connecticut's Daniel Hamilton with the No. 56 pick of the 2016 NBA Draft.

That pick was sold to the Oklahoma City Thunder, sources told The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Hamilton has the height (6-foot-8) to play either the two or three at the pro level, and he has off-the-bounce abilities as both a scorer and playmaker.

Unfortunately, the 20-year-old sophomore doesn't possess the frame (197 pounds), the length (6-foot-9 wingspan), or the athleticism expected of an NBA draft pick, and he's far too inconsistent of a shooter for an offensive-minded player.
