Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has accepted an invitation to play for Team USA in Rio this summer, sources tell ESPN's Marc J. Spears.

Green joins Kevin Durant, Paul George, Klay Thompson, DeMarcus Cousins, and Kyrie Irving on the list of players who are expected to suit up in this summer's Olympics.

The 26-year-old has never played for his country's national team, but made a strong case to be included after averaging a near triple-double for the 73-win Warriors this past season.

Steph Curry, Anthony Davis, LaMarcus Aldridge, John Wall, Chris Paul, and Blake Griffin have already ruled out playing due to injury.
