Jordan once used Jumbotron races to swindle Pippen out of money

It's no secret that Michael Jordan loves to gamble, and he apparently has no qualms about taking advantage of his own teammates to make some extra coin.

ESPN's Amin Elhassan shared a hilarious story about Jordan conning Scottie Pippen during a new episode of "The Lowe Post."

The Chicago Bulls used to play a segment on the video board at the United Center that featured three cartoon bulls racing, with fans sitting in the winning section earning a prize. Jordan arrived at the arena early one day and saw the game operations staff going over a run-through of the racing segment.

"Mike is watching this and says, 'You guys already know who's going to win?' And the guy says, 'Yeah, it's all pre-recorded,'" Elhassan said, according to Aaron Mansfield of Complex.

Jordan found out which bull was going to win that night and then made a bet with Pippen.

"Fast forward, game, timeout, Phil's drawing up some play, Mike goes to Scottie, 'Hundred bucks the red one wins,'" Elhassan said.

He continued to do this for the rest of the season, winning every night.

Pippen never caught on.
