After dropping back-to-back contests to begin their matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Toronto Raptors didn't do themselves any favor in their quest to reach their first NBA Finals in franchise history.

And while it won't be easy to collect four wins against the mighty Cavaliers, they wouldn't be the first (or the last) to comeback from a 2-0 deficit.

Here are three teams in recent history who won a series after losing their first two contests on the road:

2005-06 Heat

Dirk Nowitzki looked well on his way to his first ring after leading the Dallas Mavericks to consecutive wins at the American Airlines Center in the 2006 Finals. Unfortunately for the 7-foot German, those would mark the only Maverick victories of the series.

Dwyane Wade's sudden transition into a superstar helped the Heat collect their first title in franchise history, as the 24-year-old shooting guard averaged 39.3 points in four straight Miami victories.

2006-07 Cavaliers

LeBron James as well as anyone how it feels to comeback from a 2-0 deficit. After losing back-to-back games at The Palace of Auburn Hills to start the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals, the Cleveland Cavaliers collected four straight victories, led by the unstoppable play of their All-Star small forward.

Despite facing one of the league's top defensive teams in the Detroit Pistons, "King James" managed to average 31.25 points over the last four contests - a stretch that included his infamous 48-point outburst in Game 5.

2011-12 Thunder

Facing one of the greatest franchises of the modern area, the Oklahoma City Thunder looked doomed after dropping their first two contests to the San Antonio Spurs in the 2012 West Finals.

Led by the three-headed monster of Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Russell Westbrook, the Thunder stormed back to reel off four straight victories to reach their first Finals since relocating to Oklahoma City.
