Luol Deng will play in Game 6 vs. Raptors

Steve Mitchell / USA TODAY Sports

Despite suffering a bruised wrist in Game 5, Miami Heat forward Luol Deng will compete in a do-or-die Game 6 at American Airlines Arena on Friday night.

The Heat find themselves down 3-2 to the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference semifinals heading into Friday's matchup.

The 31-year-old veteran is coming off his worst performance of the series on Wednesday, missing all eight of his shot attempts in 24 minutes of action. All four of his points came from the charity stripe.

Deng has been an afterthought offensively against Toronto, failing to reach double-digit scoring in each of the last three games. He's averaging 7.8 points on 35.9 percent shooting in the series, adding 5.4 rebounds and 0.6 steals.
