Despite what Erik Spoelstra and Gabrielle Union may think, the NBA has ruled that officials made the correct no-call on Dwyane Wade's missed layup attempt during the dying seconds of Game 5.

The league released its Last Two Minute Report on Thursday, claiming that Charlotte Hornets center Cody Zeller legally challenged Wade's shot - jumping vertically to help Kemba Walker collect the game-winning block.

The NBA released the following in their report:

Zeller (CHA) comes towards Wade (MIA) from across the restricted area, planting his foot and jumping vertically to defend Wade’s shot. Zeller absorbs contact when it occurs and, while his arms are not completely vertical, multiple angles confirm they do not make contact with Wade. Therefore, Zeller maintains a legal guarding position as he attempts to defend the shot.

Wade already stated earlier on Wednesday that the results of the report wouldn't have an effect on him, shifting his focus to collecting a Game 6 victory on the road.
