Garrett Temple had the best season of his career as he ended up starting in 43 of the 80 games that he played in due to injuries suffered by teammate Bradley Beal throughout the season.

Temple had the best season of his career in 2015-16, starting 43 of 80 games and finishing with averages of 7.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.1 three-pointers over 24.4 minutes.

Analysis:

Temple made the most of Bradley Beal missing 27 games due to an assortment of lower-body injuries, and even stuck in the starting lineup for several games in which Beal was active as coach Randy Wittman looked to limit the latter's minutes. In the past, Temple was previously only known for his defensive abilities, but he showed he could be a capable scorer when called upon, with his three-point shooting in particular being a pleasant surprise. Temple is set to become an unrestricted free agent this season, but given the injury concerns Beal carries, it may make sense for the Wizards to retain the 29-year-old as insurance at the guard spot.
