While his recently diagnosed MCL sprain will only keep him on the shelf for two weeks, Stephen Curry's injury is enough for Las Vegas to place a new team as the favorite to capture the 2015-16 NBA championship.

The 73-9 Golden State Warriors entered the postseason as the betting favorites to hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy once again. With The Chef hurting, though, their Western Conference rivals, the San Antonio Spurs, have leaped Steve Kerr's roster with 3-2 odds.

Team Odds (entering playoffs) Odds (April 25)
San Antonio Spurs 7-2 3-2
Golden State Warriors 5-7 9-4
Cleveland Cavaliers 3-1 3-1
Oklahoma City Thunder 16-1 10-1
Los Angeles Clippers 30-1 18-1
Toronto Raptors 25-1 40-1
Miami Heat 40-1 50-1
Atlanta Hawks 60-1 50-1
Boston Celtics 50-1 80-1

The Los Angeles Clippers, who the Warriors could potentially face in the second round without the services of Curry for at least a couple of games, have seen their odds at winning the franchise's first title rise from 30-1 to 18-1.
