Sylvania 300: Lap 179 - Hamlin involved in wreck, headed to garage

Denny Hamlin’s shot at advancing to the next round of the Chase just went from bad to worse.
On Lap 100, Hamlin had to pit under green after a fuel-filling apparatus failure. On Lap 179, he was involved in a wreck with David Ragan, Cole Whitt and Martin Truex Jr.
Hamlin received the worst of it, aesthetically and points wise. His car received heavy right side body and suspension damage.
