Fighters react to Punk's $500K payday on Twitter

The lampooning of CM Punk is far from over.
Following Punk's MMA debut at Saturday's UFC 203, where he was submitted by Mickey Gall in the first round, the Ohio Athletic Commission released the fight purses for the entire card.
The former WWE Superstar, who's only been training in MMA for two years, netted $500,000, the event's third highest fighter payout.
Given the constant chatter surrounding fighter's pay of late, Punk's payday drew the ire of several MMA veterans:
It's worth noting the lion's share of the ensuing negativity came from fighters with far less name recognition than Punk.
