Silva posts 'Vegas here we come' amid rumors of UFC 200 bout with Cormier
Anderson Silva seemed to confirm rumors that he would replace Jon Jones in a bout against Daniel Cormier at UFC 200 on Saturday, with an Instagram post that finishes saying "Vegas here we come" in Portuguese.
Thursday's post is a strong indication that Silva is at least a potential option to fight Cormier, but "Spider" was already scheduled to be in Vegas, for the induction of Antonio "Big Nog" Nogueira into the UFC Hall of Fame over the weekend.
Dana White said Thursday there are two options being looked at for Cormier, one a title fight, the other non-title.
Silva last fought against Michael Bisping in February, losing via unanimous decision, and was forced to pull out of a bout with Uriah Hall in May due to surgery to remove his gallbladder.
